Under the directives of the wise leadership, which is keen on preserving falconry as an authentic Emirati heritage and continuously supporting initiatives that enhance the sustainability and development of national traditions, the UAE Falconry League is held annually through a joint organization between the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club and the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center. A number of teams participate in the league, competing with their main falcons within the categories of Jeer Tabaa, Jeer Shaheen, Garmousha Jeer, and Jeer Pure, in a competition that brings together authenticity and a modern spirit of challenge.

The league is based on a clear system that allows teams to compete in a qualifying round consisting of four heats dedicated to the four categories, where points are awarded based on the falcons’ rankings in each heat. The total points of each team are then calculated to determine its overall ranking within its group. The highest-scoring teams qualify for the final round, in which the same heat structure is repeated, with the option to use reserve falcons according to the regulations. At the end of the competition, the ranking of teams in the final round is determined by the total points achieved by each team across the four heats.
