Abu Dhabi Falconers Club participates in organising the Sheikh Zayed Festival Falconry Competition, reflecting the festival’s prominent place on the Club’s calendar and its special significance through its association with the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, may he rest in peace.

The competition programme comprises 8 heats exclusively for the Farkh (young falcons) category, including 4 heats for the General – Owners category and 4 heats for the General – Open category. Through this participation, the Club continues its efforts to support the sport of falconry, preserve the UAE’s authentic heritage, and encourage greater participation and competition among falconers. These efforts contribute to enriching the festival’s heritage events and reinforcing its position as one of the UAE’s most prominent heritage occasions.
