The Junior Falcons Competition aims to instill the values of the authentic national heritage in the younger generation by teaching them the sport of falconry. The competition takes place from 2 November 2025 to 1 February 2026 and is hosted in three main cities: Madinat Zayed, Ghayathi, and Al-Sila.

The championship includes two types of races:

• Telwah Race: Participants compete with their falcons to cover a distance of 200 meters. The time taken by the falcon to reach the finish line is recorded, and the falcon with the fastest time wins.

• Hudd Race: The prey is released from a specified distance, and the falcon must pursue it. The falcon that successfully captures the prey is declared the winner.

These competitions aim to promote heritage and preserve the traditions of falconry among the younger generations, while fostering a spirit of fair competition and love for falconry.
