Held under the patronage of the Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region and organised by the Abu Dhabi Falconers’ Club, the Al Ain Falconry Championship will take place in Al Ain from 5 to 17 December 2026. The 13-day programme features a series of main and accompanying rounds celebrating falconry and its deep-rooted heritage.

The championship includes competitions in the General Open and General Owners categories, across the Farkh and Jernas age groups. Events cover several falcon types, including Gyr-Saker, Gyr-Taba, Pure Gyr, Gyr- Qaramoosha, Hurr, and farm-bred Shaheen. The programme also features dedicated rounds for Al Ain falconers, senior falconers, women, and juniors, supporting broad community participation and giving falconers across these groups the opportunity to showcase their skills in a competition that reflects the values and heritage of the sport.
