Abu Dhabi Falconers’ Club (ADFC) has announced its participation for the second consecutive year in the 12th Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, from the 10th to the 13th of September in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
The participation of ADFC comes in light of its programs and plans aiming at marking the heritage events and occasions with its presence, and introduce to the public and visitors the Club and its competitions that were launched last season, in addition to the successes it achieved and the positive impact it had on all the events it participated in. This participation also gives the falconers and falconry lovers the opportunity to subscribe in ADFC and to learn about the services and continuous support it provides the falconers with. ADFC will be able also, through this participation, to share with the target public the achievements of last season in addition to all the details and information about the next season’s competitions and its participations in other events.
At its 400 m2 exhibition stand, ADFC will also give its members, public and falconry lovers a great opportunity to deal with its global partners and learn about the latest falconry products through its two stands of Marshall Radio (American Falconry) and Euro Falconry, taking part in its principal stand, in order to benefit from their experience, latest falconry equipment and falcons’ training methods in order to prepare falcons to participate in official competitions.
ADFC provides its members, for their annual subscriptions, with distinguished services, e.g. protected areas and places allocated to falcons’ training under the supervision of a specialized team from ADFC; laser devices and equipment necessary for Telwah training, training with wireless aircrafts and training with balloons; training services to prepare falcons through taming, training and hunting against weekly fees of AED 750 or monthly fees of AED 2500 for every falcon, these fees include the falcon’s food, the medical services and the performance reports; training sessions with wireless aircrafts; preys at reduced prices through partnerships and agreements concluded with local and global distributors; falconry products and equipment at reduced prices through partnerships and agreements concluded with local and global distributors; organization of falconry trips inside and outside the UAE.
For his part, H.E. Sultan Al Mahmood, Executive Director of ADFC, has praised the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region for the events of the 12th International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition, noting that ADIHEX is one of the Region’s key events concerned with heritage and its importance in drawing the present. H.E. Sultan Al Mahmood added that ADIHEX has become an event everyone, inside and outside the UAE, waits for, due to its global mission and principal role in promoting connection between the generations of the present and the heritage of the past and legacy of our fathers and ancestors, noting that the second participation of ADFC in ADIHEX since its establishment is considered a big asset and a very important point to start its second season, through which it seeks to achieve its vision and mission aiming at making falconry an attraction for the generations of the present so they learn about the heritage of this ancestral sport.
H.E. Sultan Al Mahmood noted that ADFC will enable people to subscribe during ADIHEX where it will present its plans, programs and competitions for 2014 – 2015, in addition to its achievements in its first season. Al Mahmood added that ADFC is keen to interact and communicate with heritage events and festivals due to its importance lying in being a club that serves ancestral sports in general and falconry in particular, stressing that ADFC is also keen, through its cooperation and partnership with Abu Dhabi Sports Council, to present a distinguished season for all falconers, in order to continue the series of successes that has started last season.
